ABOUT THE ARTIST

A Miami based jazz guitarist, composer and arranger who moves easily between swing, Latin, funk and blues. Russ has released several albums, most recently Timepieces with Tal Cohen, Hendrik Meurkens and Tim Armacost, leads a 17 piece jazz orchestra of his own compositions, has toured Europe and Asia and teaches at college level. Every Sunday he plays the Bossa Nova jazz brunch at Glass and Vine in Coconut Grove.
